Lynn University Debate

🏆 Lynn wins state championships in NPDA and BP debate! 🏆 Congrats NPDA champs Jonah Cole and Jonas D’Souza. Lynn wins state championships in BP, 1st place to Jonah and Jonas, 2nd place to Matt Bilello and Joey Mansour! This is the third time BP has been offered at states and the third time Lynn has won it!

Jonah won the top overall debater award, the Citrus Award, in its inaugural year. Jonas got 4th. Joey was the top speaker in BP; Jonas got 5th. Maxwell Hackner and Tal Argov broke to quarters in NPDA as novices! Renee Barrett got 4th speaker in LD, Joey got 5th, and Jonah 6th. Jonah made semifinals. Renee, Max made octafinals in IPDA; Jonah made it to quarters and 3rd speaker in IPDA.

Lynn overall was 2nd in debate sweepstakes and 4th in overall sweeps! A really great state tournament with many awards brought home!

Lynn Debate competes in the FL state championship FIFA 2023 this weekend. In NPDA we broke .that.j.cole and to finals, with awards announcing the winner on Sunday after BP rounds happen. We have seven debaters preparing and clashing this weekend in issues of policy and political philosophy using rhetoric and persuasion. Go fight win!
