1. Benign Paroxysmal Positional Vertigo (BPPV) (most common)

* Tiny calcium crystals in the inner ear become displaced.
* Episodes are brief (seconds to a minute).
* Triggered by:
* Rolling over in bed
* Looking up
* Bending over
* Usually treated with repositioning maneuvers such as the Epley maneuver.
