Had the inspiration for a new board. It's amazing what a nice public-domain piece of art can do with a little tweaking. I call this one "Brainstorm." Excellent differentiation between the dark and light squares, with lots of motion keeping things interesting.

ChessDoodle (and Red Boar Studios, which features additional board games) will be at the William Bryant Elementary Holiday Market on Saturday, November 20 from 10-4. The address is 1101 SE Sunnyside School Road in Blue Springs, across the street from Blue Springs South High School. Here is a sample of our new format for a quad-fold chess board.
