Reading just a few minutes each day helps keep young minds growing all summer long. Whether it’s books, graphic novels, magazines, or audiobooks, every page counts!

Parents, find a chapter book to read as a family. Listening to someone reading a book above children’s reading level is a great way to improve comprehension and language.

Summer at MCPL starts today and runs through August 24! With this year’s theme, Read, Score, Roar!, readers of all ages can sprint into great stories, build reading streaks, and celebrate every reading win along the way. Get more information at mymcpl.org/Summer

Sunny Pointe Elementary PTA is offering a convenient 2026–2027 school supply sale! 🎒✏️

Prepackaged supply kits are available by grade level, with optional headphones available for $11.00. Headphones are now listed as optional on the school supply list, but it’s highly recommend purchasing your child his/her own pair. 🎧

Orders can be placed securely online at www.educationalproducts.com/shoppacks using school ID SUN075 by June 16th. Sales tax will be applied at checkout.

Each supply pack will be delivered directly to students’ desks in time for Meet the Teacher Night in August! 🏫
