In the mountain town of Blue Ridge, Georgia you can visit a one-of-a-kind attraction that dives deep into the legend of Bigfoot at the Sasquatch Museum, home to what is widely known as the largest permanent display in the country dedicated to the creature. Inside “Expedition: Bigfoot!”, you’ll walk through more than 4,000 square feet of exhibits filled with detailed footprint and handprint casts, along with one of the more unusual pieces…a plaster cast said to capture where the creature once sat. Life-size scenes place you right in front of towering Sasquatch figures, while audio stations play chilling recordings of reported calls heard in the wild. Maps mark sighting locations across the United States, and displays include collected hair samples, sketches, and even a custom-built research vehicle used for field work. The museum was created by Bigfoot researcher David Bakara and has been featured on national television, drawing curious visitors from all over. Whether you’re fully convinced or just curious, it blends roadside stop charm with serious research in a way that keeps people talking long after they leave.
