Sayre, Ph.D., of Rapid Precision Testing Laboratories, one of the creators of the SPF rating system: “UV nail lamps are safer than natural sunlight or sunlamps.” Nail lamps with LED bulbs or fluorescent bulbs both emit UVA-1, the safest part of the ultraviolet spectrum, according to Dr. Sayre. In light of the sad situation our neighbors of North Carolina are enduring right now, The Nail Loft will be accepting donations in attempt to help ease some of the stress. Thank you to the Folk Collaberative for letting us help you guys. You can drop donations off at your appointment or anytime 9-5 Monday through Friday. Basic necessities such as: pre-packaged food, hygiene care, towels, blankets, waters, baby supplies, formula, pet food (dog and cat), unused first aid, new unopened socks, new unopened underwear, hand sanitizer, trash bags etc. if you would like to send donations you can reach Redcross of North Carolina by texting Helene to 90999.
