πŸ“’ Solicitor Permit Notice

The City of Blue Ridge has approved a solicitor permit for Egert Johnson, who will be going door-to-door offering educational books and materials.

Mr. Johnson’s information has been verified by the City, and his permit is valid from July 6 through August 6, 2026.

We are sharing his photo so residents are aware of who may be visiting homes in the area during this time.

As always, residents are never obligated to open their door or make a purchase from any solicitor.

Thank you! 😊

City Hall will be closed on Friday, July 3, 2026, in observance of Independence Day. We hope everyone has a safe and happy Fourth of July weekend! β€οΈπŸ€πŸ’™

πŸ—‘οΈ Trash Collection Update:
Sanitation Solutions will still be collecting trash on Friday as scheduled. However, they will only have one truck servicing Blue Ridge that day. Because of this, collection may take longer than usual, as the truck will likely need to make multiple trips to unload before completing the route.

If your trash has not been picked up at the usual time, please leave your cart out. The route will be completed, but pickup may occur later than normal.

Thank you for your patience, and have a safe and wonderful holiday!

πŸŽ‰ Happy 1st Anniversary to the Blue Ridge Food Rescue & Resource Center! πŸŽ‰

What an incredible first year it has been!

In just one year, this amazing team of volunteers has made a tremendous impact on our community by providing food, clothing, toiletries, medical equipment, and so much more to families and individuals in need. During the holidays, they help make Christmas brighter for local children by providing gifts to families who could use a helping hand.

What many people don't see are the countless hours these volunteers spend traveling throughout North Texas to collect donations, stocking shelves, organizing supplies, and working behind the scenes to ensure that help is available whenever someone needs it. Whether a family is facing a difficult season or simply needs temporary assistance, they are welcomed with kindness, dignity, and compassion.

The best part? Every bit of this is made possible by volunteers.

Your dedication, generosity, and servant hearts have made a lasting difference in the lives of so many people in Blue Ridge and the surrounding communities.

From all of us at the City of Blue Ridge, thank you for everything you do. We are incredibly grateful for your commitment to serving others and are proud to have you as such an important part of our community.

πŸ’™ Congratulations on your first anniversary, and here's to many more years of making a difference!
