Today I spent some time at the homestead of Caleb . Saw his RAM pump irrigation system that passively (via stream mechanics) delivers water to the top of the garden, where it detains and then irrigates the garden via swales. Tons of passionflower, a diversity of fruit and veggies. Chickens. A human child. 😊
Great visit. Grateful for his expertise and collaboration w .roots.herbs

Perennial plugs are root stock and our favorite way to plant masses of perennials: medicine gardens, meadows, borders, raingardens and more. Some of the 3,000 perennials we are installing this fall include:
Solidago- Goldenrod
Baptisia- False indigo
Echinacea- coneflower
Rudbeckia lacinata- cutleaf coneflower
Achillea- Yarrow
Aesclepias- milkweed
Agastache- anise hyssop
Acorus- sweetflag
Asters- many
Iris cristata- crested iris
Pyecanthemum- mountain mint
Heuchera- Coral bells
Geranium maculatum- wild geranium
Comfrey
Valarian
In no particular order, but the one my over-worked brain is indexing on the fly….
