Today marks a major milestone for Experience Technology — 20 years in business.

As we begin 2026, we look back to this day 20 years ago — January 2, 2006 — when Experience Technology was founded by Eric Stiening, Stacy Stiening, and Chad Fish out of a home and garage.

Eric brought a deep background in music and physics, Chad’s unmatched skills in engineering and installation helped build the foundation of what we are today, and Stacy’s attention to detail and organization has kept the machine running smoothly ever since.

What started as a passion for technology and quality craftsmanship has grown into two decades of designing, installing, and supporting smart electronic systems for homes and businesses. Along the way, we’ve had the privilege of partnering with incredible builders, serving amazing clients, and building a team that truly takes pride in doing things the right way.

We are grateful for the trust placed in us, the relationships we’ve built, and the opportunity to do what we love every day. Our mission has always been simple: make technology easy, reliable, and enjoyable — and that commitment remains stronger than ever.

Here's a recent update from an incredible work-in-progress theater we're helping to put together. We just installed the custom leather chairs from our friends, . We also teamed up with the designers to plan and tackle a beautiful, velvety tucked-fabric wall behind the screen that doubles as acoustic treatment and an aesthetic way to hide the 2 front subs. We'll soon be adding speaker grills custom painted to match the wood paneling. High end Sony projector and receiver, Triad speakers, and a Stewart Filmscreen round out this beautiful space.
