πŸš’πŸ”₯ A huge THANK YOU to the amazing firefighters from the City of Bloomington, IN - Fire Department for taking time out of their day to visit all of the children at Compass Early Learning Center! πŸ”₯πŸš’

Our children, ranging from 1 to 5 years old, had an exciting and educational experience learning about firefighters and the important work they do to keep our community safe. The firefighters showed the children their uniforms and equipment, helping them understand that firefighters are helpersβ€”even when they look a little different in their safety gear.

The highlight of the visit was getting to tour the fire truck! The children loved exploring the truck, seeing all of the tools, and asking lots of thoughtful questions.

Thank you, Bloomington Fire Department, for creating such a memorable experience and for helping our children learn about fire safety, community helpers, and the importance of serving others. We are so grateful for your partnership and all that you do for our community! β€οΈπŸš’πŸ‘¨β€πŸš’πŸ‘©β€πŸš’

Our Seahorse classroom has been busy exploring and learning all about growth and change! πŸ›πŸ¦‹ The children have loved watching their caterpillars grow each day as they learn about the butterfly life cycle. They have also been carefully replanting their bean sprouts and helping take care of them by watering and checking on them daily. These hands-on experiences help build curiosity, responsibility, and a love for science and nature. We can’t wait to continue watching everything grow! πŸŒ±β˜€οΈ

Our Sea Turtle classroom has been hard at work taking care of their raised garden bed! 🌱πŸͺ΄ The children have been watering plants, checking on their growth, pulling weeds, and learning what plants need to stay healthy. Gardening is such a wonderful hands-on way to build responsibility, patience, teamwork, and a love for nature. We are so proud of the care and excitement they are showing while helping their garden grow! 🌼πŸ₯•πŸŒž
