We are excited to welcome our newest Bear families to Blackshear Elementary School!

Join us for our Pre-K Parent Orientation on Thursday, July 30th at 6:00 PM. This informational meeting is designed specifically for parents and will provide important information to help your child have a successful start to the school year.

📚 Open House for students will be held on Monday, August 3rd. Families are welcome to bring school supplies that evening. More details will be shared soon!

We can’t wait to partner with you as we begin another amazing year at BES. Our future is bright, and we’re looking forward to welcoming our newest little Bears into our school family!

🎉 Welcome Back to BES, Mrs. Jennifer Morris! 🎉

We are thrilled to welcome Mrs. Morris back home to the BES family! After a year away, Mrs. Morris is returning as our 3rd Grade Inclusion Teacher and brings with her 22 years of educational experience and a heart for students.

Mrs. Morris is no stranger to BES, and we are excited to have her back serving our Bears. Please join us in giving her a warm BES welcome as we look forward to an amazing school year together! 💙🐻💙

Half of our 2026 VBS missions money ($1,500.00) is going to a local non-profit, Sleep in Heavenly Peace. Our missions money will help provide beds for children who do not have their own bed. During the recent fires, 29 homes in Brantley County were damaged or destroyed and we will help provide beds for children in those families. What a blessing that we can support these families.

Also, our goal was to help fill the need of 100 pillows. We are just a few short but this is yet another way we are helping others.

A representative from Sleep in Heavenly Peace will be at our church on Wednesday evening to pick up the pillows and receive our missions donation.
