The good folks at Kaleh Signs & Designs made me some more good looking hats. These are Richardson 312's...just the same fit as the 112 style, but these have a solid back instead of mesh.

A friend of mine brought a rod to me that his Dad bought him years ago, so it has some sentimental value to him. The rod guides had old cloudy, cracked, and peeling epoxy on them and didn't look very good. I removed all of the old epoxy and thread, then rewrapped the rod guides with new thread and new epoxy. Turned out looking good as new.

Nothing fancy on this one, it's all about pulling in the hawgs. 7'3" medium heavy fast action, split Winn grip handle, and Fuji Micro guides. Just have to let the epoxy dry and it'll be ready to go.

If your favorite rod has seen better days don't get rid of it. I can replace those old worn out handles with new EVA foam, new cork, or even Winn grips.
