This is a faith based community that will teach project based science, history, and other enrichment areas. The kids have learned so much about the American Revolution this year! They’re gaining a stronger grasp on the who, what, where, when, and why of that time in history. So many great activities were planned along with their lessons — here are some highlights.

One thing we love about our group is the chance for weekly community. Here are some clicks from a day last month.

In Science, they got really hands on and made model volcanoes. The preschoolers had their own Valentine’s exchange and made a fun trail mix. ❤️

We’ve gotten to enjoy some great field trips this fall! There is so much to learn right in our area, and we’re grateful to be able to experience these things together.

Here are some photos to our trip to the Lewis & Clark Interpretive Center & Fort Mandan, the International Pow Wow at United Tribes Technical College, and the Knife River Indian Villages.

This year in science at Inspire, we have been studying human anatomy and physiology. Special focus has been given along the way to highlight the many ways that we are all very much the same, yet, at the same time, utterly unique.

Many lessons included activities to bring awareness to differences that kids may encounter as they meet others. Some examples include: designing prosthetics during our musculoskeletal lesson, completing a maze while blindfolded to simulate blindness, and completing instructions while wearing earplugs to better understand deafness.
