If cats could talk they would give us a full report on the herd and exactly where and how they are getting to the other side of this fence !!!
We think we know we just do not have the time to work on that area when we have a bigger project going on. It is not like the herd high tails it and heads to another farm. They go to the barn or in this case that want to be in the pasture where we are working on drilling holes and putting in wooden fence posts. They just want to be where the action - or peanuts are!!

As everyday is different; it is very hard to keep an exact routine time wise. Since the herd likes to eat at the same time and sleep at the same time; they do not understand if their routine gets changed. Today the momma that I milk every morning and every evening was not in the barn waiting for me. She was with the rest of the herd way out in the pasture eating grass like a good goat.

Junia was our first twin that needed to be bottle fed. The extra trips to the barn created a special bond with us and Junia. She loves humans ! The other side of the coin is these humans living on our farm love her. She will be an outstanding doe and someday she will have kids. She has helped the entire herd be friendlier. Thank you Junia for all you have given us. We know you will have a great life on your new farm.

Getting through he gate and driving the trailer into the pasture is way easier to unload baby goats than trying to leash and walk each baby goat back to the pen. This way we get it done in one effort ! Love it when a plan comes together-:)

One of the requirements for transporting your goat to another state is a health certificate. This means we loaded up the kids and too them to the vet yesterday. They passed with flying colors ! It was simpler to keep the entire herd of baby bucks together so that is why Oreo ended up riding with them -:)
One more to do ☑️ checked off the got to do list !
