The Birmingham Canoe Club is an amazing organization with amazing people that run it. People of all ages and all walks of life participate in their events. Paddling is great exercise, a great way to get outdoors and a great way to network and meet lots of new people. I've met life long friends on the river and this is a huge asset of ours in the Birmingham area.
It's not easy to find group paddling that always has a hand full of the highest level swift water certified rescuers right next to you during the entire paddle. - They offer trips and training. - For a small donation of just $20 - you will get a year membership and will be notified of all the fun get togethers and paddle trips. -
