In an industry that moves fast, the people who leave the greatest impression are often the ones who take the time to genuinely care for others.

Over the last two years as a server and bartender, Jermaine has become known not only for his work ethic, but for the energy he brings to the team each day.

He’s someone who genuinely enjoys being around people, building relationships, and creating an environment where everyone feels welcome.

When asked what he loves most about 220 Merrill, he didn’t mention the restaurant itself—he talked about the people. The friendships he’s built, the connections he’s made, and the culture that comes from working alongside people who care about one another.

Outside of work, Jermaine is a former collegiate basketball player, an avid tennis player, a chess enthusiast, and someone who believes music is one of life’s greatest joys. But what stands out most about him is his commitment to helping others.

Whether it’s supporting a teammate during a busy shift, offering encouragement when it’s needed, or simply showing kindness to someone he crosses paths with, Jermaine approaches life with a genuine desire to leave people better than he found them.

“My main goal in life is to be kind and give back to others as much as possible.” It’s a simple philosophy, but one that shows up in everything he does.

His positivity is contagious, his presence is dependable, and his ability to connect with others is something both guests and coworkers appreciate every day.
