For the past several years, Birmingham Park & Recreation has been an essential partner in making Better Basics Reads possible. They pick up and deliver more than 10,000 books to 27 schools across Birmingham—the largest logistical lift of our entire event.

This is what true community partnership looks like: no spotlight, no stage, just a commitment to Birmingham's children and a job done with care.
