Great and thorough lectures today! Thanks to Dr Fuerst from Dept of Ophthalmology at UAB for our eye emergencies presentation, as well as two of our fellows Dr Rommen who lectured on aortic emergencies and Dr. Samuel who lectured on venous and pulmonary and other types of emboli.
Many thanks to Dr Bryan Billions on radiography of head trauma, to Dr Hanna and Lisa Sheffield CRNP for a presentation on syncope, and Julie Bray for lecture on wound vacs and wound healing. Dr Smith also spoke on high sensitivity troponin and ECG review
