At Growing Kings, advocacy plays a vital role in everything we do and how we serve others. Juvenile justice is a key element in our advocacy works because so many of our youth are not provided with the fair treatment that they deserve.
In the Juvenile Justice series, you will learn more about youth injustice and how we are striving to combat this issue.
This week’s focus is on the role of law enforcement in schools and the how their presence raises concerns of students being criminalized. To help with this, we have implemented a strategy to help advocate for the prioritization of investments in communities of support that employ school psychologists, counselors, and social workers.
