Founded in 2008, Schools Offer Support serves members of our Birmingham Public Schools community through outreach efforts, financial support, and volunteer activities.

❄ Season of Giving ❄
As we head into the holiday season, SOS is once again asking our community to support our annual Season of Giving. This district-wide initiative helps families in our BPS schools that need assistance with purchasing holiday gifts.
👉SOS is collecting monetary donations and $25 Meijer and Target gift cards through December 5th.

🏫Or drop off gift cards at any BPS school’s front office labeled “SOS Season of Giving.” Please note: SOS is only accepting $25 Target or Meijer gift cards (no e-Cards).
🎁🛍 SOS will distribute gift cards to families with handmade greeting cards in time for them to shop for holiday gifts. Families will also receive non-perishable food bags for the December break.
