🧢📜📚Phew, in all the excitement from the last couple of weeks you might have missed our newly restocked Museum Shop. Featuring a plethora of books, mugs, hats, and colonial toys, shoppers are sure to find something that catches their eye. Unique, hand-crafted items adorn the shelves as well – beautiful baskets are the work of local basket maker Vicky Heffner and the gorgeous pottery pieces are from Griffith’s Pottery in Pottstown.

In addition to replenishing some favorites, shoppers will also notice a few new items, including copies of the Declaration of Independence as well as a few new toys and books. If you’ve been looking for some unique merchandise commemorating American’s 250th anniversary, make sure to stop at the Visitor Center one weekend to check out the Museum Shop.

🍂🍏🍁We know it’s still only July, but with this heat, it’s never too early to start thinking cool, autumn thoughts. And at the Homestead, autumn always means one thing – our Heritage Day Fall Festival! We are excited to announce this annual living history event will take place on Sunday, October 18 from 12-4pm.
