We’re proud to introduce the newest addition to O.C.D. on drums — Ty Singer
Ty’s musical journey began at just 8 years old, laying the foundation for a lifetime behind the kit. He went on to spend several years immersed in the Boston music scene, performing with the band The JAGS and gaining valuable live experience — including the opportunity to open for the legendary Stray Cats, a standout moment in his early career.
After returning to New York, Ty continued to build his presence in the regional rock scene, playing with bands such as Lando on Fire out of Sayre, PA, and Forgotten Sun in Endicott. Since relocating back to New York in 2012, he’s remained rooted in the area, bringing both experience and passion to every project he’s been a part of.
Ty brings a seasoned, powerful style behind the kit, along with a deep love for live performance — and we’re excited to have that energy driving OCD forward.
Let's all Welcome Ty to the band 😎

It is with profound sadness that we mourn the passing of John Sykes, the legendary guitarist renowned for his contributions to bands such as Thin Lizzy, Whitesnake, and Blue Murder. John passed away on January 20, 2025, at the age of 65, after a courageous battle with cancer.
Born on July 29, 1959, in Reading, Berkshire, England, John Sykes began his musical journey with the band Tygers of Pan Tang in the early 1980s. He joined Thin Lizzy in 1982, contributing to their acclaimed 1983 album "Thunder and Lightning." In 1984, he became a member of Whitesnake, playing a pivotal role in the creation of their multi-platinum 1987 self-titled album, which featured iconic tracks like "Still of the Night" and "Is This Love."
Following his tenure with Whitesnake, John formed the hard rock group Blue Murder, further showcasing his exceptional talent as both a guitarist and vocalist. Throughout his career, he was celebrated for his distinctive playing style, characterized by fast alternate picking, pinch harmonics, and a keen sense of melody. In 2004, Guitar World included him in their list of the "100 Greatest Heavy Metal Guitarists of All Time."
Beyond his musical prowess, John was remembered by those who knew him personally as a thoughtful, kind, and charismatic individual whose presence lit up any room. In his final days, he expressed sincere love and gratitude for his fans who stood by him through the years.
