First paddle of the year, with a side of some !!

Wednesday Books sent me this intriguing sounding YA novel, 𝐏𝐢𝐞𝐜𝐞𝐬 𝐨𝐟 𝐌𝐞 by 𝘒𝘢𝘵𝘦 𝘔𝘤𝘓𝘢𝘶𝘨𝘩𝘭𝘪𝘯! I’m not a huge fan of YA books, but I’ve definitely been known to enjoy them occasionally. The first few pages of this one may have me hooked already!

On a personal note… some of you may know that I’ve been dealing with a 𝙩𝙤𝙣 of pain lately, mostly back pain. Two days ago I went to my orthopedic surgeon/pain management guy for injections.

I feel 𝙂𝙍𝙀𝘼𝙏. I ❤️ steroids, lol. Which is why I was finally able to go kayaking on one of the nicest days of the year so far. I even got to hang out with a loon, which was weird because they don’t normally show up here, but still pretty excellent.

🆀🅾🆃🅳: what do you like to do in your free time, other than reading?

🅰🅾🆃🅳: obviously I like to kayak, and hike, and do crafts, and hang out in my little inflatable pool (the kayak is inflatable too haha). But thanks to audio books, I can read no matter what I’m doing!

🅰🅾🆃🅳: I’m going to clean part of my house, hopefully figure out what’s wrong with my wall (it’s a story), and then maybe go kayaking on Sunday.
