Messing around with these reel functions so it was a good excuse to highlight one of my favorite things I’ve done for the LX so far. Adding the 1.5 inch body lift from @nst_spec is probably my favorite thing on the LX. It gives it a way better and taller look for one while still rocking the factory AHC. It allows me utilize all the functions of stock AHC suspension which is awesome because this suspension is great. I had some rubbing issues at stock height with 35s without the body lift when driving at highway speeds and would hit a good bump in the road so that’s when I knew I needed this body lift. After the install I no longer have any rubbing on normal or highway driving and even when I’m pulling our new to us camper. Plus it gives me some extra clearance when off-roading which is always a plus. Aside from all that good stuff the folks at @nst_spec had awesome communication throughout the install and offered great help throughout the whole process even with all my questions. Plus I got some stickers and a Velcro patch with my order which is always a win 🤙 (The LX as you’re seeing it is on 35s and in normal height mode) #lx570 #bodylift #NSTSpec #lexus

Quick additional photo from Heath on the Whipsaw Trail. This shows how the bottom of the OEM bumper moves up the 1.5” to improve approach angle. The bottom of the Styrofoam gets cut off to allow the bumper cover to move up, along with moving the bottom brackets up on the back of the crashbar.

Another LX on 37’s with my small body lift. This was the first to use the 1” and get onto 37’s but not the last. Since then, others are doing it too, even if it takes a little more trimming. I’d recommend the 1.5” for 37’s but you’re welcome to do the work to keep things nice and low. Both kits make a little taller tire easier. This is on Instagram.

One of our 1.5” Body Lifts has made it up to the Yukon and Heath was nice enough to make sure we are represented on the sign. He headed to Alaska and has plans for re-gearing and then onto 37’s 🤙🏼

This is after a small prototype body lift was installed on an LX570 running 35” tires currently. He is now making room for 37’s.
