Today, as Juneteenth comes to a close, we reflect on the significance of June 19, 1865—the day news of freedom finally reached enslaved people in Galveston, Texas, more than two years after the Emancipation Proclamation.

Juneteenth is a time to honor freedom, resilience, and the ongoing pursuit of opportunity for all. At Pathway Academy, we remain committed to educating, empowering, and preparing students to make a positive impact in their communities.

As this day ends, we encourage our Warrior family to continue learning from history and celebrating the progress made while working toward a brighter future.
