BACK TO MARCH FOR SATURDAY: RAIN, WINDY, COLD

Yes...that IS a storm system dropping south from Montreal on Saturday, May 30th....and NOT March 30th.

No two ways to put it...this is a CRAPPY pattern for late May and we're going to pay the price for it tomorrow.

A storm system drops south and intensifies as it does so...leading to a period of heavy rain from the seacoast of NH down to Boston...with intensifying northeast winds that will gust to 50mph along the North Shore coast...

Now with trees full of leaves...50mph gusts will do some branch damage. So heads up on that...power outages not impossible as a result.

The worst of the conditions will be late tonight through tomorrow morning, with winds peaking tomorrow morning as the storm continues to strengthen as it dives to the southeast.

Around 1 inch of rain expected and temperatures around 50F, give or take a couple degrees.
