I met Todd Rogers in my Building Your Brand Training that I facilitated at his organization in Deerfield, Il in 2017 and his brand has continued to thrive.

Todd, a Sr. Manager, Capabilities and Operational Excellence, US Medical Field at Takeda, was featured in "Career ReCharge" and shares how the book, our partnership and the Benatti Resiliency Model has impacted him over the past five years below:

"My connection with Beth's model actually started in a workshop she ran at my company in 2017 before the book was published. The focus of the workshop was 'Building Your Internal Brand' and included other activities tied to the pillars of the Re-Charge model. Two activities that were instrumental in putting me on a new path were the Career Anchors inventory and the TypeCoach inventory which connected to the Self-Awareness Pillar.

It was through the Career Anchors inventory and the conversations Beth facilitated that I began to become more aware of my instinctual motivators for how I was driven to contribute on a team or in an organization. I realized I was drawn to situations where I had autonomy or Independence to work and where I could grow and flex a toolbox of technical skills. I also found I was particularly motivated by projects that had social impact or supported the purpose of an organization. Another result of participating in the workshop was that I became inspired by Beth's work re-energizing organizations by helping folks connect the dots in their career journeys.

As a result, I enrolled in a master's program in organizational science (which I completed in 2019). I also completed a year-long certification program in 2020 in Narrative coaching techniques and about that time, I landed a new role in my organization where I am connected with the learning and development function and the Organizational excellence function. The new role allows me to facilitate conversations with stakeholders around Mission Measurement, Team Effectiveness, and mindset shifting through storytelling culture with the goal of better teaming norms, processes, systems and outcomes in our organization.

It has really been a transformational 5 years."
