To be loved and to love is admirable. Yet, the total love of self is like no other love and even a priority before we are able to love others in a healthy manner. This day is not just about having a significant other to love; There are many that will say they are loved, but do not love themselves. Some even loathe themselves. I want to encourage you this day, to lavish love on yourself.

Those who are without significant others; to romance yourself. To love you. Send flowers to yourself. You not only deserve to be loved, but you deserve to love yourself, every inch of yourself, every flaw, every imperfection about you.

Just as you desire to pour out the love you have on the inside of you into someone else, lavish it, without restraint on YOU. Until that special someone finds you and you find them, the greatest love affair to have is with yourself.
