There are days that I look at my great granddaughter and marvel at her spirit. She is fearless, kind, spunky and smart. She will have challenges in her life. I can only hope that they are of her own making and not placed there by systemic intolerance and ignorance. It is my obligation to fight for her future and the future of all females. We need everyone to be fierce defenders of each other since our own fate and that of our country and the world depends on it. Stand up & speak out when you see injustice. Silence is an action.

If you allow the government…any government… including the American government to decide what women can do with their bodies, women lose all autonomy to make their own decisions. VOTE for choice for women and against those Republicans who want to resist access to women’s health care in Al, it’s forms.
This is what it looks like in Iran. “President Ebrahim Raisi ordered tougher enforcement of the law ( on head coverings) to coincide with the government’s National Hijab and CHASTIDY Day on July 12.
Amazing this CHASTIDY day is only for women. If CHASTIDY for men was enforced there would be no need to control women’s bodies.
