Hi all!

This young guy came in with severe back pain and anxiety that was palpable in his presence.

Foot tapping, rapid speech, quick staggering movements.

In only a couple of sessions the anxiety strongly reduced and his back pain was next to non-existent and no longer affected his day to day activities.

We saw all of this change in the spine through the movements we do in our “Stretch & Reset” class.

The acupuncture was another tool we used for the anxiety, but these results are something you can get at home from our classes.

Join us this Saturday at 10 am EST to see what this light exercise can do for you!

Belly breathing, also known as diaphragmatic breathing, is a technique that involves breathing deeply by expanding the diaphragm and allowing the belly to expand as well.

This type of breathing is important for a variety of reasons:

=> Reducing stress and anxiety: Belly breathing is a natural way to activate the relaxation response in the body, which helps to reduce stress and anxiety.

By slowing down your breathing and focusing on deep inhales and exhales, you can calm your mind and body.

In our Online Modern Qi Gong classes that we teach every Sunday, we incorporate the concept of empty lung retention and full lung retention to increase its benefits.

=> Improving lung function: Belly breathing allows you to use your diaphragm more effectively, which helps to expand the lungs and improve oxygen exchange.

This can be especially beneficial for people with respiratory conditions, such as asthma or COPD.

=> Increasing mindfulness: Belly breathing is often used in mindfulness and meditation practices because it encourages you to focus on the present moment and your breath.

This can help you become more aware of your thoughts and emotions, and develop greater mindfulness and self-awareness.

=> Enhancing athletic performance: Belly breathing can help athletes improve their performance by increasing their endurance and reducing the risk of injury.

By strengthening the diaphragm and improving lung function, athletes can take in more oxygen and use it more efficiently during exercise.

Overall, belly breathing is an important technique that can benefit anyone, regardless of their age, fitness level, or health status.
