. Both my parents worked hard, inside and out of the deli, throughout my childhood and are an example to me of how hard work pays off. When I work at the deli now, I take great pride in my work. I am not just “the owner’s son”. My father and I are the only two people that make the gelato for the store. When customers tell me how good the gelato is I get great satisfaction seeing their reactions after their first taste. That is all I need to know I did a good job for the day. When it comes to modeling – I love the way I feel when I put on a new outfit – how confident I feel in my own skin. I love everything about fashion – the expression of individuality - the way clothing can make a person reflect on the outside how they feel on the inside. My favorite designer currently in the industry is Supreme brand. I enjoy the freedom in their street-style – how it is “messy” but sharp. “Supreme grew to be the embodiment of the downtown culture, playing an integral part in its constant regeneration. Skaters, punks, hip-hop heads – the young counter culture at large – all gravitated toward Supreme. I’ve chosen to pursue modeling as a career out of high school because I would hate to look back and regret that I didn’t give modeling a shot. If and when my career as a model comes to a close – my next life aspiration is to become an Underwater Welder – certified by Commercial Diving Academy. I first learned how to weld my senior year in high school. I was dual enrolled in my school district’s Vocational-Technical School Welding Technology program and the local community college’s Welding Technology program. I successfully completed both of these programs in conjunction with my other high school academics and athletics. While studying Welding Technology, I learned there are careers available in which you can earn a decent wage, never be unemployed - the world always needs welders - and do not necessary need to attend “traditional” college. In a stroke of genius, I realized that I can combine two of my passions into a career of my dreams. When I made this discovery, I had the peace of mind and excitement for possibilities my future could hold outside my career as a model.
