We are to have sponsored the P2P SC Career Expo! It was great to have been a part of the Expo in Myrtle Beach, helping 8th graders discover their passions and explore future career paths.

Pathways 2 Possibilities is an interactive experience designed to help 8th graders link their passions to a paycheck. Professionals from 19 career pathways (aligned with the national and state department of education) have created hands-on experiences that will allow the students to experience these various fields.

Our Enviva colleagues shared their exciting careers in forestry, inspiring the next generation to consider a future in renewable energy and environmental stewardship.

Enviva was excited to kick off 2025 supporting the University Charter School (UCS) in Livingston, Alabama! Enviva's Community Relations Manager Rick Frederick, Human Resource Manager Ashley Fedrick and the Epes Fiber Procurement Team were thrilled to join UCS Head of School JJ Wedgworth at their annual fundraiser benefiting UCS’s athletic programs.

Enviva is proud to support the UCS mission, as an innovative, rural, diverse K-12 school that values collaboration with key stakeholders throughout Sumter County. We looks forward to further strengthening our partnership with UCS and to a bright future, with the opening of the world’s largest wood pellet plant in Epes, Alabama later this year.

Enviva kicked off early this week in Sumter County Alabama with a turkey giveaway for deserving families in Epes, Al. and throughout all six districts in the county.

A big thanks to County Commission Chairman Marcus Campbell, Epes City Council President Charlie Jackson, and the great team at the Sumter County Department of Human Resources for helping identify those in need and distributing the turkeys.
