Would you like to host the MALCS 2027 Summer Institute?
Hosting this sacred gathering grounded in Chicana feminist praxis, community care, and transformative conocimiento is an act of collective stewardship, a commitment to creating space for mujeres/xs to think, teach, heal, organize, and imagine.
We seek sites that honor Chicana/x, Latina/x and Indigenous knowledges, value interdisciplinary and intergenerational exchange, and hold space rooted in corazón, accountability, and justicia. The call is open to:
• departments, programs, MALCS chapters, or collective of MALCSistas
• MALCSistas who believe hosting is an offering to comunidad
• MALCSistas committed to feminist futures beyond institutional limits.
Visit the FAQ linked in bio for guidelines and details about the application process. You can also send your questions to [email protected]. Please share this opportunity with your fellow MALCSistas and help us prepare for the MALCS Summer Institute 2027.
