Welcome to Designact. My name is Cat. I'm the weaver (ex-webdesigner). My husband, Mohan, is the photographer. I found weaving to be the perfect solution for passing time on those cold and endless rainy days as well as an escape from the current state of mind numbing affairs.

As I weave, Mohan finds himself at the Berkeley Marina nearly every day, chronicling daily life on the bay with the San Francisco skyline and the Golden Gate Bridge as his backdrop. Many of his photographs appear in Berkeleyside, a local online news site with tens of thousands of readers.
