Hello Rangers! 🌲🏞️

We're thrilled to share some exciting news from the past year - we welcomed and onboarded the stunning Wichita Mountains Wildlife Refuge in southwest Oklahoma! πŸŒ„πŸ¦Œ Its majestic mountains and vast prairies are now home to bison, elk, and a myriad of other diverse wildlife.

Fun Fact:
The Refuge has a rich history! It was originally designated as a forest reserve over a century ago in 1901, predating the Refuge System. In 1905, Theodore Roosevelt redesignated it as the Wichita Forest and Game Preserve, making it America's first game preserve.
