It was supposed to be a quick trip to an unexpected school meeting.
But I hit construction delays.
Gas was low.
Parking was a mess.
And ๐‘’๐‘ฃ๐‘’๐‘Ÿ๐‘ฆ๐‘œ๐‘›๐‘’ was out โ€” schools, businesses, shoppers, traffic, all at once.

ADHD brains like mine?
We feel it all โ€” the sensory load, the interruptions, the sudden change of plans.

And I realized something.

๐Ÿ‘‰ I discovered the secret to getting through high-demand days with less overwhelm by letting go of โ€œthe most efficientโ€ and choosing what was ๐’Ž๐’๐’”๐’• ๐’”๐’–๐’‘๐’‘๐’๐’“๐’•๐’Š๐’—๐’† for my brain.

It became clear that simplifying my day ๐’๐’ ๐’‘๐’–๐’“๐’‘๐’๐’”๐’† gave me back my calm โ€” and my focus.

Thatโ€™s when I realized: itโ€™s ๐‘›๐‘œ๐‘ก ๐‘Ž๐‘๐‘œ๐‘ข๐‘ก ๐‘‘๐‘œ๐‘–๐‘›๐‘” ๐‘–๐‘ก ๐‘Ÿ๐‘–๐‘”โ„Ž๐‘ก โ€” itโ€™s about doing what ๐’‚๐’„๐’•๐’–๐’‚๐’๐’๐’š ๐’˜๐’๐’“๐’Œ๐’” ๐‘“๐‘œ๐‘Ÿ ๐‘ฆ๐‘œ๐‘ข๐‘Ÿ ๐‘๐‘Ÿ๐‘Ž๐‘–๐‘›.

So I got gas.
I skipped the veggie-chopping and ordered takeout.
And I made it through the day without losing myself.
