MOMIX returns to Cal Performances with Botanica — and it is exactly as breathtaking as it sounds. 💐🌿
First created in 2009 and revived for 2026–27, Botanica is a surreal, season-spanning journey through the natural world. Set to an eclectic score that moves from the sounds of birdsong to the grandeur of Vivaldi, the work follows the rhythms of the seasons and the passage of a single day — all brought to life through MOMIX's signature blend of athletic movement and theatrical spectacle.
