Psychic Training & Spiritual Foundation:
A naturally intuitive clairvoyant & medium, April King was first recognized as a psychic by the San Francisco Chronicle before the age of 1 for her uncanny ability to pick Tarot cards from the Morgan Greer deck her mother gave her and point them at the person in the room whose energy matched the cards. Her mother, internationally renowned psychic Lori King assisted her in staying tuned-in while guiding her spiritual journey and she began drawing auras at her mother’s highly attended and revered psychic fairs at age 5. She developed somewhat of a following in childhood and was featured in the book "Company of Prophets: African American Psychics, Healers and Visionaries" by Joyce Elaine Noll which documented some of her abilities.

Throughout her life she has developed her psychic practice and studied the art of frequency both in her “other life” as a musician and with some of the greatest spiritual masters of our time and beyond. April continually learns from and works with her mother Lori, her greatest psychic teacher. Her spiritual godfather Eddie Cabral (Psychic, Healer, Medium) has been an incredible lifelong mentor. King has studied the teachings of ineffable Gurus Baba Muktananda, and Paramahansa Yogananda. April has studied in person with Mahamandeleshwar Swami Nityananda, Grandfather Wallace Black Elk, Swami Alice Coltrane Turiyasangitananda and Michael Bernard Beckwith. She also has a long time connection with the Zen Masters of the Kwan Um School of Zen who have a temple on a vortex in the sacred canyon of the high mountain desert she grew up in.
