The tightest ring consists of the students and faculty of the Art and Art History Program. Closely fitted to that ring are the students, faculty, and staff on the rest of Berea College’s campus. While the students and faculty of Art and Art History are our natural allies, we strive to reach across campus to engage more broadly with the art we display in our galleries and care for in our collection

We are ✨ rich in life ✨ because we have had the absolute joy of working with Juliana for the past three years! From starting out as Collections Associate in her sophomore year to finishing her senior year as our inaugural Special Projects Manager, Juliana has brought a sincere curiosity for learning and her trademark enthusiasm to all of her work at the Galleries every single day. She graduates today with her degree in Art History (!!!) and we are so proud! Juliana, we are going to miss you so, so much! 🧡❤️🧡
Us, whenever we encounter tiny things in our collection. 👶 👀✨

Happy Earth Day! 🌎 This painting by Kentucky-born artist C. C. Coyle invites us to slow down and reconsider our relationship with the world we live in. Coyle’s work reminds us that the environment is something we shape and then, in return, shapes us! As we celebrate Earth Day, we are mindful of the ways that art can help to deepen our awareness of the world around us! 🌱✨
