Update on the Chapel of the King.

Many of you know Outside The Walls Ministries has acquired a church located at 311 5th street in Benton Ar.

We have worked tirelessly for months now trying to update this building that was previously known as East Side Baptist Church.
If all goes well and the Lord is willing, we will have a open house sometime in June, and then our first service hopefully a few days later.

We will be using the Chapel for several things, but our intent is to first start having a Sunday evening service (5-6pm).
It’s unfortunate but many folks are not comfortable going to some of our local churches. I don’t believe this is because of anything the churches have done, but because of perception.

This new Chapel is intended for those who want a smaller more intimate atmosphere. A place where relationships can be made and folks can learn about Jesus.
Many believe everyone in Saline County knows who Jesus is and that they know the Bible, but that’s simply not true.
I didn’t start leaning about our Lord untill I was in my 30’s though I started attending in my 20’s.

If you have read the Bible for years your welcome to come, if you never opened it or never heard the name of Jesus, your welcome. If your curious about why some folks live in faith regardless of their circumstances, this Chapel is for you.
Folks, there is a peace that comes from a personal relationship with God, with Jesus.
It can rarely be explained, but it can always be found when we put our trust in Jesus, the Son of God.
I’ve been asked what denomination are we?
We are not a denomination, we are God’s children and all of us corporately are one body of believers, we are what is referred to as the bride of Christ.
We believe in God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit.
We believe Jesus is the Son of God, born of a virgin, lived a sinless life and was crucified on a cross. We believe He was resurrected on the 3rd day after His death, was seen by many, assended to Heaven and now sits at the right hand of the Father interceding on our behalf.

I know that’s a lot, but come to the Chapel and see what God is doing through the lives of His believers.

Our platform for the Chapel is not to just have one preacher, but many who will come and teach us about our Lord.
We will also have testimonies.
A testimony is someone telling us about the miraculous things Jesus has done in their lives.

I could go on and on but let me close with this.

You are welcome at The Chapel of The King. You will hear the true word of God, it won’t be distorted to fit any agenda.
You will know that not only does Jesus love you, but so do we.
You and your children now have a place to learn, to be discipled and to grow.

Phillipians 4:12-13
“I know what it is to be in need, and I know what it is to have plenty. I have learned the secret of being content in any and every situation, whether well fed or hungry, whether living in plenty or in want. I can do all this through him (Jesus) who gives me strength.”
