In collaboration with Bend-La Pine Schools, Deschutes County, Deschutes County Solid Waste, and community leaders, we’re bringing you The Plastic-Free Future Project—a powerful community education initiative to reduce single-use plastics, particularly plastic water bottles.

Five incredible school art installations will be on display to inspire change and help Deschutes County Solid Waste achieve its recycling awareness goals. These innovative projects showcase the creativity and commitment of local youth to make a real difference!

📍 Today’s Showcase Details:
🗓️ Friday, April 4 | 🕓 4:00–6:00 PM | 📍 Center Plaza at the First Friday Art Walk in the Old Mill District.

🌍 The displays will remain up all weekend, offering an ongoing opportunity for public engagement and education around waste prevention and the global impact of plastic production.

🗓️ Save the Date: Join us again on Earth Day—April 22 in front of the Deschutes County Library.
