Walk, bike, carpool or ride the bus to the Old Mill District or Hayden Homes Amphitheater this summer and you could win concert tickets, Hydro Flasks and more. The Summer Commute Challenge runs June 1 through Sept. 30.

Open positions for the Deschutes County Bicycle Pedestrian Advisory Committee. Apply and get involved!

Interested in helping shape bicycle and pedestrian transportation in Deschutes County?

Deschutes County is looking for volunteers to serve on the Bicycle and Pedestrian Advisory Committee (BPAC). The committee helps advise on issues related to walking and biking, including road projects, safety, signage and transportation planning across the region.

Current openings include:
• One at-large representative
• One Bend-area representative

Members serve three-year volunteer terms and typically meet from noon to 1:30 p.m. on the first Thursday of each month.

Applications are due by 8 a.m. on May 22. Applicants should submit a resume and letter of interest with their application.
