Swipe right to see how the years have flown. As we wrap up our 9th markets season and year in business, I’m tearing up a bit thinking about it all. The first picture is of my first farmers market in 2016. My kids were so young! They’ve watched me work so hard to build my little business over the years and we’ve learned (and are still learning) how to juggle running a family business and still spend quality time with each other. Not pictured is my husband, who worked the festival with me all day just to be able to hang out. My kids came at the end of the day to say hi and crammed themselves into the pie camper to warm up. I’m just really thankful. Thankful for my family that supports me in all this and for all my customers, who I genuinely care about. I’ve gotten to know so many amazing people in our community through this business. So many people express how my pies are part of their family traditions and I see them coming back year after year. That’s what it’s all about for me. So as the seasons change and the years go by so quickly, I just wanted to take a minute to reflect and look lovingly on this beautiful and crazy life.
