Every summer, our streets burst into color thanks to the Downtown Bend Business Association Flower Basket Program—those lush, overflowing beauties you casually admire while grabbing coffee, strolling to dinner, or pretending you’re not stopping for just one more latte (or beer). From June through October, they turn Downtown Bend into the kind of place people photograph… and locals brag about.

Here’s the behind-the-scenes reality: those baskets don’t just magically thrive on mountain air and good vibes. It takes real dollars (and a lot of watering, feeding, rotating, and TLC) to keep them looking like they belong on a postcard.

That’s where you come in.

Businesses, locals, flower lovers, and anyone who’s ever said “wow, these look amazing”—this is your moment. Sponsor a basket (or a few), and you’ll get a personalized plaque on a downtown flower post—prime real estate, first-come, first-served. Starting Thursday, November 20th, we roll into Week Three of the Central Oregon Gives program—aka “the season of giving… and getting cool stuff.”
