Fans are able to interact on the page and will receive updates about events or news. Fan comments are bound by the Facebook Terms of Use and Code of Conduct (http://www.facebook.com/terms.php). Facebook has established guidelines concerning language, posting pictures and videos, and other topics. Deschutes Democrats reserves the right to remove any post that violates Facebook or other stated policies, including, but not limited to, harassing, threatening or profane language; private, personal information published without consent; commercial promotions or spam; hyperlinks, or other posted material that is not directly related to the Facebook discussions. Comments, posts, and messages are welcome. While Deschutes Democrats recognizes and respects differences in opinion, all such interactions will be regularly monitored and reviewed for content and relevancy. Privacy
Deschutes Democrats does not collect, maintain or otherwise use the personal information stored on any third party social media site in any way other than to communicate with users on that site, unless granted permission by users for contact outside the site. The purpose for contact outside the site may include events promotion, volunteer opportunities, voter information, or other similar activities. Users may remove themselves at any time from the “friend” or “fan” lists or request that they are removed. Users should be aware that third party websites have their own privacy policies and should proceed accordingly.
