This year was a pivot, a restructuring.

I knew going into 2025 there would be many new beginnings - but certainly had no idea to what extent.

It brought Anneli Hansson along my path, a timely introduction to her Brand Facilitation Bootcamp earlier in the spring - which was such an incredible boost of confidence and community. To join others from across the world around the mutual passion of helping others find alignment and clarity in their brands was the challenge and encouragement that I needed - at the right time.

This has led to joining her Brand Rebels for Good community, where I have yet again found myself surrounded by creatives looking to make a greater impact in the world by showing up uniquely as they are - and helping others do the same with their organizations.

What began as a tentative step in a new direction a couple of years ago has transformed into a full fledged pivot from Designer to Brand Strategist + Creative Director.

And needless to say, I am excited to see what 2026 is going to bring.

When identity is defined, direction follows.

Your brand is your identity - the truth of who you are, what you stand for, and the experience you’re here to create.

Brand strategy is the direction that flows from that truth - the roadmap that guides decisions, growth, and leadership.

When identity is unclear, strategy becomes reactive.
But when identity is solidified, strategy becomes steady, intentional, and aligned.

This is how organizations grow without losing themselves.
Not by chasing momentum, but by letting clarity lead.

Before you scale your organization, there are questions that deserve your attention.

Do you know who you are - or only what you do?
Is your growth aligned with your purpose, or simply driven by momentum?
Can your team clearly articulate your identity, or does it live only in your head?
Are decisions being made from strategy, or from urgency?

These aren’t abstract questions.

They shape your culture, your communication, your leadership, and the future you’re building. Scaling doesn’t require more effort or more pressure.

It requires clarity at the foundation.

When identity is defined and brand strategy becomes the roadmap, growth stops feeling reactive and starts becoming intentional.

The work gets lighter. Decisions get clearer. Alignment becomes possible.

If you’re feeling the pull to slow down and clarify before moving forward, trust it.
