Computers can be helpful. Some even call them a tool. And, there is merit to that thinking. However, I find myself not very excited about a graphic artist/computer tech calling themselves woodworkers. Now I know I will catch flack for this thinking. But here me out, There is nothing wrong with creating art from a computer or drawing something up in your head and having a machine do the heavy lifting. That is still art and creative, but it is not woodworking. You are a graphic design artist. Furthermore, I know that the Purists out there that are hand tools and wood exclusively will probably knock me for my epoxy (even though you work it just like wood) and power tools. Well, if anyone can call me out it is that group of people - purist woodworkers are on a whole different level. You guys are badass! To each his own, and mine is no Robots, no AI, no CNC.
