The Auction World Lost A Legend! John Teel Chicken Auction John Teel's Auction @ Durant Please Keep the Teel Family in your Prayers. John Teel is the Reason we do auctions, He helped me countless times, and gave me advice when he didn’t need to, He always told me to come sit down and tell him about my week, John had the kindest heart there was, I had never met a soul like his before, John has taught me a lot and it’ll never go unnoticed and recognized that he left a imprint on me. Truly saddened I don’t get to sit and have a talk with him before the chicken sale anymore but grateful that I had the opportunity to even sit with the legend himself. If you grew up in the Texoma area, Bryan county, North Texas, South East Oklahoma you’ve probably been to one of his Famous Chicken Sales or Antique Sales. He knew everyone, and he had a nickname for everyone. Mine was Hotshot. The memories left will be cherished. John was an amazing man, I didn’t get to know him his whole life but since I met the man in 2017, He’s been nothing but there for me. We truly lost someone special in the Auction World and it’ll never be the same on tuesday nights.
