Watching this pond come to life was a fun one.
From setting the liner and boulders to getting the water flowing, this whole build came together piece by piece into a natural-looking waterfall and pond setup that completely changed the backyard.
There’s just something about moving water that brings a space to life.

This one was a fun transformation.
We took out an old backyard pond and turned it into a custom pondless waterfall built right into the homeowner’s train layout.
The goal was to make the waterfall feel like it had always belonged there, with the tracks, buildings, roads, plants, and boulders all working together as one little backyard world.
And of course… the pump quit right at the start.
So we grabbed a bucket, grabbed a pitchfork, and kept moving.
Old pond out. Pondless waterfall in. Train layout still running.
