Congratulations to Eddie and Jake, two of our Junior members, for completing their Senior Experience presentation at Mepham High School!

This past spring, Girl Scout Troop 2387 visited BMEMS headquarters!!💚

The girls learned the importance of calling 911 in an emergency and how to treat minor injuries with basic first aid training. They also made their own first aid kits and earned their first aid badges!🚑

On the 23rd anniversary of September 11th, we honor the memory of Chief Kevin Kelly, Director Thomas DeFrancisci, and Chief Andrew Moreno. Their unwavering commitment and sacrifice continue to inspire us. We come together to remember and pay tribute to all first responders, civilians and their families who to this day continue to feel the impact. Their courage, their sacrifice, and their legacy will never be forgotten. 🇺🇸

The members of BMEMS want to thank the Cardiac Cath Lab Team and ER staff at Plainview Hospital for coming to our membership meeting this past Monday!

We learned so much about Cardiac Catheterizations and PCIs, identifying STEMIs and NSTEMIs, and how to incorporate this knowledge into patient care!! 🫀

On Memorial Day, BMEMS recognizes the courageous heroes who made the ultimate sacrifice. We thank you for your service.🇺🇸❤️

As a thank you to our local community, Bellmore Merrick EMS will be having our third Bunny Hop on Saturday, March 23, 2024.

We will be stopping with the Easter Bunny at two locations in addition to driving around the neighborhood:

2:00-2:30 PM - Curé of Ars Church
- 2323 Merrick Ave., Merrick (Parking lot on Hewlett Ave. side.)

2:45-3:15 PM - St. Barnabas Church
- 2320 Bedford Ave., Bellmore (Parking lot in front of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton School.)
